Ready for a meaningful career move? Join Pen Plus (Peninsula Plus) on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, where fun, growth and leadership go hand‑in‑hand. We’re a values‑led allied health team with hubs in Mornington, Frankston and Dromana—and we’re looking for an inspiring Psychology Team Leader to help our psychologists, and our wider multidisciplinary team, thrive.
About Pen Plus
Pen Plus delivers support that is meaningful and tailored to each person. By embracing diversity, honouring strengths and working together, we create a safe space where everyone can learn, grow and thrive.
Our practice is guided by values of Community, Empowerment, Connection, Innovation, Inclusion and Integrity—and we aim to live these every day (not laminate them).
About the role: Psychology Team Leader
This is a leadership opportunity that blends clinical work, people leadership and service development. You’ll lead a high‑performing psychology team, build capability across the stream, and help shape innovative programs and pathways.
This role suits a psychologist who enjoys developing others, strengthening supervision culture, and contributing to how services evolve—not just delivering them.
What you’ll do
Lead and support a cohesive, values‑aligned psychology team through clear direction, coaching and day‑to‑day operational oversight
Deliver a balanced clinical caseload across therapy, assessments, family support and advocacy
Provide and champion high‑quality supervision, supporting reflective practice, clinical reasoning and professional growth
Contribute to supervision capability across the team, including supporting early career psychologists and those working towards registration pathways
Facilitate peer supervision and case collaboration through structured team rhythms and connection points
Partner with senior leaders and other stream leads to design professional development, lead projects and build new programs
Strengthen consistency in practice through shared resources, tools and approaches across the psychology team
What you’ll bring
AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
At least 5 years of clinical experience, ideally across a range of presentations and settings
Experience providing supervision, mentoring or clinical support to other psychologists
Board‑approved supervisor status, or a clear intention to obtain this, will be highly regarded
A genuine interest in leadership, team development and service improvement
Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
A driver’s licence
What’s in it for you
People‑first leadership: a strong supervision culture, aligned leadership support and regular check‑ins that prioritise both clinical quality and team wellbeing
Personalised growth: structured supervision and career development that supports your goals and areas of interest
True flexibility: the ability to design your week across clinic and community, with scheduling that respects life outside work
Collaboration that lifts everyone: regular peer supervision, case discussions and multidisciplinary connection across hubs
A comprehensive package including superannuation, travel reimbursement, laptop, and ongoing professional and leadership development
If you’re ready to lead with heart, build supervision capability, and shape the future of Psychology at Pen Plus, we’d love to hear from you.
